Suzanne Martinez
Director of Creative Services & Production
Suzanne Martinez has been in production since she was 10 years old and put-on a backyard production of Bye Bye Birdie. She later honed her art and production skills while earning a BFA from the University of the Arts and an MFA from Pratt Institute. After graduating, she co-founded Water Street Press, Ltd. in DUMBO, producing limited edition graphics for John Cage, Larry Rivers, Arman, Romare Bearden, Christo and Kenneth Noland among others. She also produced high-quality, technically-challenging work for design consultancies and museums including The Metropolitan Museum of Art.
In 1990, Suzanne joined Liz Claiborne, Inc. as the director of the Print, Art & Studio production staff. She spearheaded over 3,500 projects annually for up to 35 brands, producing everything from direct mail postcards to billboards to in-store displays.
Suzanne lives in Brooklyn with her family and thinks a lot about production when she's not playing Scrabble.
